Bringing to life the rise of Sheffield's very own Prince Naseem & Irish boxing trainer, Brendan Ingle, GIANT is a film from Sylvester Stallone & True Brit Entertainment.

They say they're built a bit different in Sheffield. The South Yorkshire city has given us steel, Sean Bean, Harry Maguire, Jarvis Cocker, The Artic Monkeys, The Human League & a leopard print wearing featherweight boxer called Prince Naseem. If you were watching title-weight fights back in the 90s you'll remember the fiery Sheffield boxer with his iconic summersault jump over the ropes entrance. Naseem Hamad aka Naz dominated the featherweight division in the late 90s boasting numerous boxing titles between 1995 & 2000. Famed for his super knockout power & showmanship, the Sheffield born Southpaw boxer had an unorthodox style usually boxing with a guard down stance, throwing hooks & uppercuts at lightening speed. His iconic leopard print shorts & ring entrances which saw him once enter the ring on a flying carpet, put Naseem in an elite league of 90s athletes boasting endorsements with adidas, Playstation & Audi. A protege of the Irish boxing trainer, Brendan Ingle, the boxer/trainer relationship is now brought to life courtesy of Sylvester Stallone & True Brit entertainment with GIANT which launches in cinemas this January.
