Diadora Revive Some Late 80s Vibes With the N.92 Trainer

The Diadora N.92 Advance trainer champions the legendary N series alongside late 80s inspiration from classic runners like the Intrepid silhouette.

Every brand has one of them moments, a key turning point, a new direction or in the case of Diadora the start of a legacy. It was the 1980s that marked a new era for the Italian sportswear brand, a decade before the likes of Roberto Baggio would grace the pitches of Serie A in his signature neon yellow football boots. Before Seb Coe came on the scene in '84, it was all about the Borg connection. Thanks to Diadora's endorsement deal with the flamboyant, head band wearing Sweed, the Italian sportswear brand was the label every young Casual kid wanted on their feet in the early 80s. Thanks to Diadora's dominance on centre court, and some of the top R&D (research & development) available at the time, the focus on running trainer innovation was an easy switch. Following the release of the Seb Coe, and archive silhouettes like the Intrepid from '88, the legacy of the N series was born. Giving a nod to the original Intrepid silhouette, and the legendary N series, Diadora have now introduced the N.92 Advance which arrives at 80s Casual Classics in an exclusive colourway.

Diadora's introduction into the elite running world came courtesy of the London born middle distance runner Seb Coe as he took Gold in the 1500m final at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984. At a pinnacle era of sportswear endorsements and running trainer technology, it was the Italian sportswear brand Diadora that looked to add Coe to their already impressive roster of athletes. Moving into the late 1980s & early 90s the legacy of the Seb Coe trainer had sparked a new era of running silhouettes for the Italian sportswear brand with the introduction of the ground-breaking N series. Colour-blocking colourways, state of the art running technology, and their signature retro runner look has given these classic creps a unique appeal thanks to exclusive collaborations and modern updates.
