Lyle & Scott rose to prominence on the working class terraces of the UK throughout the late 1970s & early 1980s. A far cry from the elitist golf clubs, where memberships came with secret handshakes and year long waiting lists. The closest thing the average Casual lad had come to a golf course was probably playing crazy golf on holiday.
