Sergio Tacchini Go "Golden Brown" on the Orion Track Top For An 80s CC Exclusive
We've got another exclusive release for 2026 which comes in the form the Sergio Tacchini Orion track top in an updated 'golden brown' colourway.
For those who weren't going all Translapino in Europe or swaggering about in sportswear to the sounds of 'A Flock of Seagulls' back in 1982, their first encounter of OG tracktops like the Orion from Sergio Tacchini was probably watching a Nick Love film. In fact the Orion silhouette in particular owes a lot to The Firm from 2009 as it was one of the most featured track tops in the cult classic. Worn in numerous scenes by Bex played by Paul Anderson and Dom played by Calum MacNab, the Orion made a huge comeback courtesy of a revival release and has remained one of top sellers since. Whilst desperately trying not to reference the classic song by the same name from 'The Stranglers' from 1982, we've teamed up with Sergio Tacchini yet again for 2026 with a 'Golden Brown' colourway exclusive.

The history of the Sergio Tacchini Orion track top goes back to the 1980s, in particularly the early 80s with the Avalon Split Star, a more style driven version of the Sergio Tacchini Star track top which was famously worn by John McEnroe. The classic training style was also available in a cafe racer version which featured a biker style collar just like Fila did with the Terrinda in 1982. The OG 80s tracksuit was a testament to Tacchini's vision of a fashionable sportswear brand with the pastel blue & yellow colourways of the iconic tennis style becoming a key look among the casual elite of the 1980s. If there was one Tacchini track top every young Casual kid wanted in the early 1980s, the Orion was definitely up there.

Now introduced in a golden brown & navy colourway as an 80s Casual Classics exclusive release, the Orion track top returns to its spiritual home. Opting for more modern earthy tones as oppose to the vibrant reds & greens worn by the likes of John McEnroe, this latest version of the Orion stays true to the original design. Highlights include a classic funnel neck design with contrasting white piping to the collar & chest. Finished off with the Orion's signature twin stripes also in white to the upper sleeves as well as ST branding embroidered to the left chest.
